Caitlyn is a singer/songwriter based just outside Philadelphia. Her folk/pop style of writing includes memorable melodies and haunting lyrics revolving around themes of loss, change, renewal, and hope - embodying the weight of humanity through music.

She grew up with mainly classical music in her home, but started writing more contemporary songs in high school while teaching herself guitar. She formed the now five-piece band Sunday Muse with childhood friend, Hudson Marsh, and gained momentum as a band beginning in 2014. The band has released two singles, and recently got to play the stage at World Cafe Live. They have traveled regionally, as well as out to West Virginia for their music.

In the spring of 2017, she launched a big vision for a project called Homestead Collective:

1. the indie-folk duo of Caitlyn Deviney and Ben Morris.

2. a human movement celebrating music and art through continual gatherings.

Ben + Caitlyn released a self-titled six-track EP in the summer of 2017 and have toured all over Pennsylvania, Nashville, Virginia, Ohio, and North Carolina, and are playing shows consistently as well as hosting monthly Homestead Gatherings that they hope will grow into a bigger community movement of music and art. To learn more about what Homestead is about, click the tab at the top of the page.
